November 1, 2016 – Mr. Ian Sosso will be a Keynote Speaker at the Fall Edition of Monaco Growth Forums at the Fairmont Hotel on Tuesday, November 8th at 1:45 p.m. His talk will be entitled “Investing in Start-Ups: Generating a deal flow and spotting the best investments” and introduces some of the key elements of the investment process, namely generating a deal flow and deal selection.

Mr. Sosso stated, “This is my third participation as a guest speaker at MGF and I am delighted to be back in front of an impressive audience of CEOs and investors. Investing in early stage companies has proven over the years to deliver significant returns to diligent business angels. Generating a deal flow, then being able to spot the right opportunity are critical to successful angel investing and I am looking forward to sharing some of our experiences with the participants.”

Following a 16 years investment banking career in Europe and Asia which lead him to head up all of Commerzbank’s trading floors in Asia, Ian founded Monte Carlo Capital in 2009 with a view to investing in the most promising early-stage companies with the best teams and disruptive businesses. Over the years he has developed an impressive eco-system of co-investors and advisors which allow Monte Carlo Capital to have access to a significant proprietary deal flow. Ian believes that deal flow, deep due diligence, and active participation are the key drivers of success for business angels.
